Prophet Abiodun Arogundade is the visionary and the Lead Pastor of Covenant God Ministries International  founded in 2010.

Before the formatting of CGM Prophet Abiodun had several encounters both spiritual and physical as a result of him not responding to the calling of God. He was warned against this directly and also through some Prophet and Pastors who can testify to this today.

Prophet Abiodun was born into a Muslim family, he started attending Church in 1985 and became a prophet sometime in 1996. He had a missed fatal accident as one of his encounter out of many. He disobeyed an instruction from a prophet who told him that God said he should not embark on travelling for a specific day but to stay in the vineyard of God to join in the day service. He was admitted into hospital after the accident and was in there for nearly a year. Thankfully he is alive.

Prior to his calling he never believed in Prophet nor prophesy until he also became one. He also believe that one can serve under an existing ministry until God gave a specific instruction on formatting of Covenant God Ministries which name was given directly through the ministration of a song and some bible passages which gave bath to the name for the ministry. One of this bible passage can be found in the book of Exodus 19:5 in which God said should always be with the ministry.
